On 19th June, Headway Technology Co. Ltd launched the OceanGuard® Exhaust Gas Cleaning System(EGCS) and signed the strategic cooperation agreement with China Merchants Group and leading Chinese University in Shanghai at the witness of domestic and oversea shipowners, shipyards and industry representatives. Zhu Guiming, the General Manager of Youlian Shipyard of China Merchants Group, and Zhousong, the professor of EGCS technology, participated in this ceremony and signed the strategic cooperation agreement.
In the conference, the technical represents of Headway introduced the OceanGuard® EGCS which is another great achievement in the mode of“Production, Learning, Research and Application” by integrating obvious advantages of Headway, Harbin Engineering University and China Merchant Group. The OceanGuard® EGCS is researched and developed jointly by Headway and leading Chinese University. It has various types of scrubbing towers that can adapt to all kinds of the main engine of different sizes and ship types and has excellent performance under low backpressure. Also, Headway has four major spare parts stores and more than 300 after-sales service engineers in more than 120 service stations in the world who will spare no efforts to provide customers with technical support, annual inspection and training services of OceanGuard® EGCS.
In order to do our best to solve the delivery time customers concerned, Headway has established a strong cooperation relationship with the China Merchant Group. The China Merchant Group will not only support Headway in production of OceanGuard® EGCS but also give priority to the docking period to ensure that the system can be delivered within six months as soon as possible.
