Recently, it is heard that Qingdao Headway Technology Co., Ltd., achieves the cooperation agreement with Ocean Tankers from Singapore regarding ballast water treatment system for 6+4 new building. So far, Headway has provided nearly 20 sets of ballast water equipment to the same owner.

In particular, with the coming into effect of the Convention, the ship owner who have installed the ballast water equipment no longer let the equipment "standby", but actively require the crew to use the system in order to create a reliable basis for future retrofitting, which brings higher requirements and challenges for after-sales service of ballast water equipment manufacturers. Headway has arranged the layout in advance and set up 3 service stations in Singapore already, gradually promoting the "localization" of after-sales service and strengthening the interconnected mechanism between service stations and headquarter, and regularly having communication and training. The cooperation has further enhanced the strategic partnership between both parties.
