Headway OceanGuard Took the Lead to Pass USCG Environment Tests

2016-08-22

Headway OceanGuard® BWMS completed USCG type approval environment experiment successfully in Denmark Delta laboratory recently. It is the only product which passes through the experiment in China at present, and Headway is also one of rare manufacturers passing through the experiment all over the world.

USCG environmental experiment refers that different ship types, climates and cabin environments are simulated through EMC, vibration, extreme temperature and humidity as well as other experiments, thereby evaluating design, structure, quality and other aspects of ballast water treatment system comprehensively. It is the only stage in USCG type approval test equipment, which may led to change of equipment core component and  overthrow existing land-based or shipboard tests. OceanGuard® ballast water treatment system left a deep impression on experts in the laboratory by its professional structural design and excellent performance. An expert engaged in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing professionally showed that professional standards of Headway in the aspects of product research, development and production are fully embodied by the design of OceanGuard ballast water treatment system.

Headway OceanGuard® BWMS has many advantages of low energy consumption, compact structure, wide applicability, etc. by AEOP patent technology with independent intellectual property rights. It can cope with demands of various ship models sailing under different waters and environments. Headway OceanGuard®BWMS has great advantages in the aspects of EMC, vibration, inclination, etc. CMFDA method is used in OceanGuard, which still can complete ballast water treatment efficiently under water temperature closer to 0°C at the stage of USCG land-based experiment aiming at fresh water, brackish water and seawater.

Final actual ship experiment stage is left for USCG type approval of Headway OceanGuard® BWMS only at present. Headway OceanGuard®BWMS may become the first batch of approved products.
